Hello Jackie - thanks kindly to your staff and yourself for feeding us out-of-town tourists so wonderfully last night - my wife enjoyed a tasty Figtini that delightfully took the edge off a day of dealing with me, then we enjoyed lobster crab cakes & a Stuffie, split your delicious Diablo del Mare where your house pasta made the experience extra special and finished off with your homemade cheese cake ... most particularly thanks for captaining such an enthusiastic and professional team during these tumultuous times we’re living through - cudos & appreciation to our server, Joe plus the other two servers who checked on us plus your chef(s) & your pastry ‘cheesecake’ chef & whomever was washing dishes (saw your sign looking for a new dishwasher) and finally to your bartender who was kind enough to pour you a pint of Captains Daughter ipa - I hope you found a few moments to relax slightly & enjoy that beer - thanks again & happy Wednesday

I have to admit that, as a first responder, I was initially attracted to try J22’s takeout service when I heard about the 22% discount the owner is generously providing to first responders. After taking my first fork full of the Pad Thai with Salmon however, and tasting how delicious it is, I realized that its the food that will be bringing me back! Of course, don’t get me wrong, keeping the 22% discount for first responders is still a really good idea! (It’s nice to be appreciated!)

Trying to support local businesses but unfortunately When we came to pick up our food Jacky came out and said “are you sure it’s not under another name” we replied “ no” then she never returned 20 min later I called from our car and they told us “ we messed up your order was never made, it will be another 10 minutes” all we needed was for Jacky to come back out and communicate that to us. This Left us not feeling very happy. The food was mediocre gumbo had no chorizo like it said on the menu and the chicken in it was over cooked. Pad Thai had basically noodles and some carrots and a few peanuts in it. We have had some great meals there and most likely we would have not been so critical about the meal but the lack of communication felt like they didn’t really care or need our business.

We have been ordering from you guys at least once a week during this quarantine and we have been loving the changing menu and different choices! The food is always delicious and you guys are great! We had the Jambalaya last night along with pulled pork sandwich. It was fabulous. The dinner was ready when I got there to pick it up. All I had to do was pay and go. Highly recommend this take out during this unique time.

A complete turnaround from the past. Chef Troy seems to really love to invent and makes EVERYTHING from scratch. He creates dishes that are locally sourced, but much more inventive than most area restaurants.
Still could use a little upgrading in appearance as the food has taken this place well beyond a beer and burger "bar".

We always love visiting J22. It's so homey! The oysters are always succulent, and I'm a GIANT FAN of the Honey-roasted salmon filet. I do wish you had fixed hours on the bar. Couldn't you stay open til 12:30 on weekend nights?? We would SO LOVE to relax over a few drinks at J22 rather than crossing the street to the noisy, smelly NarrCafe.

J22 might be the sweetest little restaurant in southern Rhode Island. It's a perfect place to sit down with friends at the bar, order a dozen oysters and a couple of cold beers, and enjoy the ambience of a night by Narragansett Bay. It's bright and cheerful, cozy and warm. Whenever we're in town, we stop by here. I have never been disappointed. And special thanks to Cat, our server when we were there last week. She's wonderful!
